My list goes like this:

1. Basketball

I write a lot of blogs about basketball and I also play consistently until today. I am very competitive at it, and sometimes I am a bit of a trash talker against someone who is aggressive at me on defense. I am an offensive player. I am about 5'11 1/2 162 pounds so i got a pretty good built and I play the shooting guard position. This is the sport that I take the most serious!

I love watching basketball and my favorite team is the San Antonio Spurs!

2. Boxing

I grew up half of my life in the Philippines and half in the United States. In the Philippines boxing is a mainstream sport and is much more beloved overall than here in the United States whereas there are so many mainstream sports. The Philippines have a rich tradition in boxing and has produce more boxing champions than any other country in Asia and currently own recognized 10 champions, third highest today behind U.S and Mexico.

3. Juijitsu

I have tried the Japanese and Brazilian style Juijitsu. I am very long and usually have a decent height advantage to some who are in my weight class. I do well with the rear naked choke and kimura. I havent attended a Juijitsu class for a while, but since my fiance's is also into juijitsu, she's the only one who keeps me agile at the moment.

4. Muay Thai

One of the most painful sports I have tried. There were many nights I could not sleep because of the pain in my ribs and hips so i havent done it for a while.

5. Shotokan Karate/TakeWonDo

It is rather interesting that Shotokan and takewondo are in the last of my list when my father is a third degree Taekwondo master black belt. He taught me a few moves that i have used before in real life, but for some reason basketball and boxing has always been my top interest.

I am a huge MMA fan and I know Pride and UFC since it started. I know all the old school fighters and also today. But basketball and boxing are my top sports! :-)

How about yours?

Shocking I dont have soccer, football, and baseball? Don't worry they are in my top 10 just not my top 5! Bookmark and Share
