I've always been a big B-Hop fan, ever since the days he was fighting 6 round fill-in fights on USA Tuesday Night Fights or even the occasional show on BET.
I liked him first because he was a Philly guy but the more I watched him, the more I appreciated the things he did in the ring and his dedication to training. I know a lot of people don't like him because he sometimes can be abrasive (throwing the Puerto Rican flag on the ground for example) or battling with promoters, or just some of the things he says hyping up fights.
Whether you like him or not, please let me know your unbiased thoughts on him. I've also included a link to an article that was written in a Philadephia newspaper last year which I think really embodies the true human being Bernard Hopkins.

I liked and respected Bernard Hopkins through his whole career. And after reading the above article, I consider him a true class act and a credit to the human race. I wish more athletes and human beings in general were more like him.
